very difficult questionHi,
I use ImageJ which give the buttom image.
With the result from ROI of ImageJ, I can make a bubble graph wich is the top image.
I would like to have the blackhead shapes as close as possible to the bottom image.
Is anyone being able to give a solution ?
I shall continue to look for it with the 25 settings from imageJ.
best regards
Mass CustomizationRe: very difficult questionDrawing the ellipse seems not too hard, but I'm not sure how you'd get the variety of shapes shown in your original graph from the other parameters. (Ellipse is bit unrelated but does draw an ellipse with major and minor axes tilted from the X-Y axes.)
Re: very difficult questiondear Craige,
some informations.
Area, Area fraction and Perimeter: area, proportion of the area of roi (Region Of Interest) in relation to the image and perimeter of the region. The information is given in pixels/pixels2 unless the image has been previously calibrated in distance with the Image/properties function.
Mean/Modal/Min and Max Gray Value, Standard Deviation, Integrated density and Median: reports on pixel intensities in the area of interest.
Centroid and Center of Mass: returns the respective coordinates of the geometric center and the center of intensity of the ROI.
Bounding Rectangle: features of the smallest rectangle that can encompass ROI. This option returns the coordinates of the top left corner of the rectangle as well as its width and height.
Fit Ellipse: adjusts an ellipse over the region of interest and returns the length of the two axes of the ellipse (major and minor), as well as the angle of the major axis with the horizontal.
Shape Descriptors : calcule :
- Circularity: (4 x area)/(perimeter)2.
- Aspect ratio: after ellipse adjustment, major axis/minor axis.
- Roundness: after ellipse adjustment, (4 x area)/ (π x major axis2).
- Solidity: area/area of the convex envelope.
Feret diameter: greater distance between 2 points located on the perimeter of the region.
Kurtosis: characterizes the shape of the distribution of ROI intensities. A positive kurtosis indicates a relatively sharp distribution, a negative kurtosis signals a relatively flattened distribution.
Stack position: returns the number of the cut on which the measurement is made.
Re: very difficult questionThat's a lot of columns! Do they describe the shape of the regions? If so, you could write a graphic script that draws them.
I'm not familiar with the meaning of the column names.I'm not familiar with the meaning of the column names.
Re: very difficult questionnot exactly.
I join the jmp file with the script of the graph.
the goal is to have the shapes close to the photo from ImageJ.
Re: very difficult questionSomething like this plot from the iris data?

Re: very difficult questionI'm sorry, but it's not quite clear to me what you are asking for. But, if it helps at all (and thanks to @danschikore . . . ) the shapes that bubble plot uses do not have to just be circles.
Re: very difficult questionwith the images.
