New Column - - - ":Days Open_" From Existing Duration Column :Days Open [ ":ay:hr:m"]

My existing ( :Days Open ) column data are numeric, continuous,  duration format [ "day:hr:m" ]. 

 

A snippet of the existing :Days Open data looks like:

:21:00:00
:0:00:00
:0:00:00
:11:00:00
:4:00:00
:4:00:00
:8:00:00

I would like a formula for my new column ( :Days Open_ ) to pick off the DAYs open only; so for the above data snippet I would like the output to the new :Day Open_ column to be:

21
0
0
11
4
4
8
