Interactive HTML from Naive Bayes and SVM ProfilersDear colleagues,
Recently I encountered a problem in saving interactive HTMLs from the subject predictive models: SVM (for classification) and Naive Bayes.
I tried both approaches indicated in a discussion devoted to nominal logistic regression (Interactive HTML Nominal Logistic Regression Profiler Figure ) and had no success. Well, I am tempted to think that there must be a trick to save and utilize the profilers, but it is not so clear for me yet.
It is hoped that I can receive some kind advice from you. Solution of this trouble will be useful in the future for other users also.
Many thanks in advance
Data TableGraphicsOtherRe: Interactive HTML from Naive Bayes and SVM ProfilersFor Naive Bayes yes, it is fine in JMP 17.
SVM is not yet - its exported .html after selection of "interactive" is still inactive after opening separately. This bug has been reported, since JMP 17 is still under edition process.
Re: Interactive HTML from Naive Bayes and SVM ProfilersI would like to add an update here. Categorical response profilers, including Naive Bayes, have had significant work done in JMP 17. When you are able to upgrade, we hope you will see the functionality you need. JMP 17 will be available in fall of 2022.
Re: Interactive HTML from Naive Bayes and SVM ProfilersMr. Markwordt, good evening.
True, that trick looks like a temporary solution. Many thanks for including my request in consideration.

Michael
Re: Interactive HTML from Naive Bayes and SVM ProfilersSupport for Naive Bayes is already being tracked (S1581137) and I will add your request to that.
The procedure Byron describes in that post is a workaround, based on the fact that a binary categorical response can be converted to continuous and show the probability on a 0 to 1 scale for one of the two levels, I was aware of this workaround, but omitted it from my blog as it isn't a general solution, and we still aren't fully supporting categorical responses as you could see from the output you encountered. If you look at the log or provide a script, it may give further indication of why it isn't supported.
Re: Interactive HTML from Naive Bayes and SVM ProfilersThanks, Mr. Powell!
That post referred must be updated, because some models for categorical output have already been developed to generate interactive profilers - as a simple example was given a case with logistic regression mentioned in my starting post - nowadays, I know to handle some transformations in order to produce its interactive .html profiler. I agree that SVM and Naive Bayes are less preferable than Neural Networks or Trees-based family of models. As for my current version, JMP Pro15 is utilized. Hence, next versions would receive such an option to prepare SVM`s and NB`s imteractive html-s.

Please read Why is my Interactive HTML Profiler not interactive? and see if it answers your question.
