Ppk value with the distribution histogram

Hey jmp users, 

 

Is it possible to show the Ppk value together with the histogram  ? I don't want to put it in a separate table as I only need Ppk value.

GraphicsRe: Ppk value with the distribution histogramIf you right click on the graph, and select Customize, it will allow you to Add Graphic Script to the graph, and by using it, you can grab the Ppk value from the Overall Sigma table box() and place it as text on the chart.Re: Ppk value with the distribution histogram

Thanks for your answer. Do you have any example of a script for text adding  as I don't know how to do it ?

As an example, I ran the following script, creating a Histogram output.

Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/semiconductor capability.jmp" );

Distribution(
 Stack( 1 ),
 Continuous Distribution(
  Column( :NPN1 ),
  Horizontal Layout( 1 ),
  Vertical( 0 ),
  Process Capability( Use Column Property Specs )
 )
);

I then right click on the graph and selected "Customize".

Clicked on the "+" sign and a script box opened up, where I entered

crp = Current Report();
ppk = "Ppk=" || Format(
 ((crp["Overall Sigma Capability"][Number Col Box( 1 )] << get)[1]),
 "Fixed Dec",
 7,
 3
);
crp["Histogram"][FrameBox( 1 )] <<
Add Text Annotation(
 Text( ppk ),
 Fixed Size( 0 ),
 Text Box( {176, 22, 218, 46} ),
 Filled( 0 )
);

Which generated the following output
