ScriptingRe: JSL to print value (Z) in the 5 x 5 grid on Graph Builder (JMP14 version)Here is a modification to your script that uses "<< Add Graphics Script" to add in the Z values

Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Current Data Table();
gb = dt << Graph Builder(
Size( 754, 752 ),
Show Control Panel( 0 ),
Variables( X( :X ), Y( :Y ), Overlay( :Z ) ),
Elements( Heatmap( X, Y, Legend( 13 ) ) ),
SendToReport(
Dispatch(
{},
"X",
ScaleBox,
{Min( -3 ), Max( 3 ), Inc( 1 ),
Minor Ticks( 0 )}
),
Dispatch(
{},
"Y",
ScaleBox,
{Min( -3 ), Max( 3 ), Inc( 1 ),
Minor Ticks( 0 )}
),
Dispatch(
{},
"400",
ScaleBox,
{Legend Model(
13,
Properties(
0,
{Transparency( 0 )},
Item ID( "Count", 1 )
)
)}
)
)
);
Report( gb )[FrameBox( 1 )] <<
add graphics script(
For( i = 1, i <= N Rows( Current Data Table() ), i++,
xyList = {};
Insert Into( xyList, :x[i] + .5 );
Insert Into( xyList, :y[i] + .5 );
Text( Center Justified, Eval( xyList ), :z[i] );
)
);Re: JSL to print value (Z) in the 5 x 5 grid on Graph Builder (JMP14 version)I think that @txnelson's solution is the best for you but I have another one just to make sure that you understand the importance and the use of column attributes and row states. I designated your Z variable as a label column (see Columns panel). Then I selected all the rows in the data table and assigned the Label row state.

Now the Z value automatically appears in the plot next to the marker (which is not exactly what you want).
