MacOS Xbar R/S options

The options to choose R or S in the Xbar option does not show.

it automatically shows Xbar and R option as a graph, I wonder if MacOS is the problem or my version of jmp

I will include a photo that shows what I mean, S/R options are missing.

Thank you for reporting this. I can confirm that this will be addressed in the next JMP release, which is JMP 16.1. It will be released this summer.

If you fill in a Process variable and a Subgroup variable, an XBar/R chart will appear as default. Click on the Red Triangle and select Show Control Panel. Under The Points(2) section of the control panel, you can change the chart to be a Standard Deviation chart

Could you please provide which Mac OS and which JMP version you have. If you use Analyze>Quality and Process> Legacy Control Charts> Xbar you should have the options available. I am running Catalina and Big Sur and JMP versions 15 & 16 and I have no issues with the control chart options.
