Hi,
One of my customer asked how to remove specific rows(items) in Report
for example, current report is like below;
He wants to make like below
I made this by using 'show property' but couldn't save this result.
Please help me
Maybe I missed something, but it looks like R&D tried to stop one from messing with this table. You can get round this, however (not a recommendation!). You could write a general function to find a given table in a report and remove any rows you want to.
Names Default To Here( 1 ); dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" ); ow = dt << Oneway( Y( :height ), X( :age ), Means( 1 ), Mean Diamonds( 1 ) ); owRep = Report(ow); // I expected this to work, but it gives an error ('Unable to delete row 5 from table') . . . owRep[TableBox(1)] << deleteRow(5); // . . . but it seems you can do it this way txtVals = owRep[StringColBox(1)] << get; numVals = owRep[NumberColBox(1)] << get; RemoveFrom(txtVals, 4, 2); numVals = numVals[1::3]; owRep[StringColBox(1)] << set(txtVals); owRep[NumberColBox(1)] << set(numVals);
Hi Ian,
Thank you for your comment. It seems a little different way. Thanks again
txtVals = owRep[StringColBox(1)] << get; numVals = owRep[NumberColBox(1)] << get; NewVals ={1, 2, 4}; owRep[StringColBox(1)] << set(txtVals[NewVals]); owRep[NumberColBox(1)] << set(numVals[NewVals]);
