You can determine the frame size of a chart indirectly by accessing the "get size" property of the chart's Frame Box (at least in JMP 9) - so if for example your chart is called "gb", you could get at it by scripting XbyY = gb[FrameBox(1)] << get size, and then looking at the first and second elements of the list XbyY. The following script also accesses the lower and upper limits of both axes and reports them, though I'm sure there's a neater way of doing it. If you drag either axis up or down, or resize the chart, the values all recalculate. I can't get the frame size calculation to work in JMP 8 however: if anyone can show me how, I'd be interested myself.
