How to enable bygroup variable in JMP 12 Col Quantile function?

The JMP14 lets us to use the by group parameter like this Col Quantile(name, p, <ByVar>).

However the JMP12 only allows Col Quantile(name, p). Any suggestions that I can modify the code to make it work like JMP14? many thanks

How would you use this function? In a script? In a column formula?

If you need to summarize data otherwise, then you could use the Tables > Summary command or the Analyze > Tabulate command.
