Hi All,
I'm working my way through the text "Strategies for Formulations Development: A Step-by-Step Guide Using JMP" and need help understanding how the authors are computing the 95% Confidence Interval for the Cox Effects. I can't find any reference to the calculation in the text.
They're advocating an approach where the Cox Effects with 95% confidence intervals are charted and used for decisions about component importance. I can use JMP to reproduce their Cox Effect values by using the Fit Model platform and then selecting Estimates -> Cox Mixtures. But I can't figure out how they are calculating standard error, or getting to the 95% confidence interval. I thought they were using (95% CI = stderr x 1.96) but that doesn't appear to be the case.
I have attached their design file as well as an image of the table and chart from the text. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
