In JMP 14.1, is it possible to set in Preferences the default interval for Color Gradient (i.e. Min, Max, and Center)?Hi JMP Community,
I'm frequently applying a fixed scale Color Gradient to a specific column across multiple data tables. While I can easily set up the default color theme for the gradient in the preference, I have not found a way to set the default interval values (i.e. Min, Max, and Center).
Is it feasible in JMP 14.1 and if it is, where can I set these default values?
FYI: the alternative would be to create a short Add-In to complete this routine repetitive task.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
TS
Data TableRe: In JMP 14.1, is it possible to set in Preferences the default interval for Color Gradient (i.e. Min, Max, and Center)?The code below sets the gradient for selected columns in the current table. To run this script from a menu item you could make an add-in (as you suggested) you could use the built in tool, or the add-in manager.
names default to here(1);
selected columns = current data table() << Get Selected Columns;
for(i=1, i <= n items(selected columns), i++,
selected columns[i] << Set Property(
"Color Gradient",
{"Blue to Gray to Red", Range( {2.2, 4.4, 3} )}
)
);
