New Column Formula ProblemHello,
I have a small assignment and I am also facing a small problem.
I have a "country" column with European Countries. I have to compare the data between them and hence I have to divide them to Eastern and Western Countries.
I am creating a new column with the conditional formula "if" like that --- If( "Poland" + "Lithuania"=> "East", else => "West"). However, after applying the formula all I have in the new column is blank space. I made sure that the column is nominal.
Any ideas on what am I doing wrong or can you link me to a tutorial that explains if clauses on JMP, because the help guide does not help.
Thanks in advance!
Data TableRe: New Column Formula ProblemThere are a few different ways to code your issue, I think the one that is most similar to your approach is:
If( Contains( {"Poland", "Lithuania"}, :Country ),
"East",
"West"
