<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Hello,
I have a discussion with a customer related to sensorial analysis.
She named me 2 comparison mean test that I didn't find in JMP (neither in File Exchange): NewMann Keulls, PLSD Fisher
It seams that there are tests for multiple comparison.
Did you already heard about this tests in the past? How would you compare them to those in JMP (Hsu, Tukey, etc)?
What is your usual message in this situation?
Thank you,
Florence

They are both multiple comparison tests. Here's a link to a paper comparing Tukey and Newman-Keuls: https://www.utdallas.edu/~herve/abdi-NewmanKeuls2010-pretty.pdf. As far as I can tell, PLSD Fisher is the Fisher's test we have in JMP, but only applied if the overall H0 is significant (the "P" standing for "Protected").
