Regarding the graphHi,
I am very new to using JMP. I have data regarding efficiency analysis of some decision making units (DMUs) but got confused with the graph formation. Actually, i want to show the significance of data envelopment analysis via the graph so i need such graph from my data.
Can anyone help me to provide the idea about graph? Thank you in advance.
AnalyticsGraphicsRe: Regarding the graphWe can make many graphs from your data, but we need the exact question and more background on that data.
If you want to know, whether the Differences in Y="CCR efficiency" by X="DMUs" are significant, this can not be done by only one number for y for each group.
I assume, that the other columns are different data, and not e.g. standard deviation of efficiency.
If you would have some or many CCR efficiency measurements for each DMU, you simply could use "Fit y by x" platform, to let JMP tell you, whether the differences are significant. But with one number only for each DMU, we have no means to find out, whether this is only by chance or is a really significant difference.
But e.g. by grouping your DMUs (1..14 = group1, 15-25 = group2) you can perform that test for significance with "fit y by x", see screenshot.

Re: Regarding the graphThank you.
Since, i have 3 inputs ( recycling activities, cleaning vehicles and cleaning team) and one output (resources recycled) as provided in the attached file earlier; i want to draw a graph from these data. What type of graph can i obtain using JMP from inputs/output data so that i can also explain the data envelopment analysis (DEA) from the same?
Is 4-D graph possible from those data? I need to show 3 inputs and one output along with DMUs in the same graph/ figure.
Re: Regarding the graphThere are several ways displaying 4D Data in JMP,
you can start with the Graphbuilder, all depends on the data types and distributions.
E.g. use in GraphBuilder the drop zones
- X
- Y
- Overlay
- Color
- second or nested X or Y
- wrap ...
In the current Version JMP15 there is a nice tutorial, perhaps you Need to go through, or read the Manual.
And of Course you can build models to investigate statistically the dependence of y by three x (Fit model platform).
