How do I create a column formula to calculate how many time we changed supplier?

Hi,

 

Normally i would utilize excel to work things out but now, I'm interested to approach this through jmp.

Honestly I felt a little stuck on how to calculate the number of times we change supplier. Based on the following example, the supplier changed 7 times from row 1 until 17

You just need to increase a counter whenever the supplier changes

Here is the formula to use for a new column

If( Row() == 1, count = 1 );
If( :suppler != Lag( :supplier ),
 count
 ++);
count;
