Day counterHi, I have a dataset with a time series of process parameters. There's a column of dates, followed by columns of parameters. I have to seperate this set of data into various operating cycles, defined by dates. e.g. 1 Jan 2010 - 1 Feb 2011 = Cycle1. I'll need to include a column of day counter beside the "Runs" column. Basically I want to compare the 1st 100 days of all the cycles to see how they behave. I can't figure how to make a rolling day counter, that automatically reset as each cycle ends. I did it in excel but I can't seem to execute it in JMP. Ideally it will compare the "Cycles" column, and if it's empty, then the day count = NA., otherwise it keeps increasing by 1 until the run ends.
Thanks in advance.
Data TableRe: Day counterThis script works on my sample data table
If( Row() == 1, counter = . );
If( Is Missing( :cycle ),
counter = .,
counter = Sum( counter, 1 )
);
counter;
