ModelingIs it possible to build a model using data that has an ID and the Y-variable is in a different row from the X-variable? If not, what might be the best way to organize this dataset. This is a very large dataset.
| ID | Y-Variable | X1 | X2 | X3 |
| 1 | S | | | |
| 1 | | 100 | 23 | 32 |
| 1 | | 32 | 23 | |
| 2 | S | | | |
| 2 | | 55 | 44 | 32 |
| 3 | | | 35 | |
| 4 | S | | | |
| 4 | | 24 | 43 | 54 |
AnalyticsData TableRe: ModelingYou will have to provide the Y variable in the same row as the X variables. However, JMP is very powerful in data manipulation. In your example data table, does S represent the Y value, and would it be replicated to the blank cells below, until the next S was found, etc.?
