JMP Clinical 8 Is Coming Soon
JMP Clinical 8.0 will be released 11.17.2020. The Life Sciences team has worked hard to develop some great new key features/updates including:
- Interactive reporting framework to support publishing JMP Clinical reviews to JMP Live
- New review capabilities for DSUR/PSUR periodic safety reporting and medical query analysis
- Improved metadata collection and configuration for value ordering/coloring in visualizations
- New/enhanced JMP Clinical Review Builder API functions.
Geoff Mann will share more about this release in the next division update (scheduled for November 18th). In the meantime, please check out the JMP Clinical 8.0 Sales Toolkit to learn more about these features, who they are for, what resources are available, etc. Please note that we are planning to hold JMP Clinical 8.0 sales training in January 2021. A huge thanks to the Life Sciences R&D team!
Model Building Sales Training Session
Thank you to Kemal Oflus for presenting this week's sales training around Model Building. Kemal shared a very high level discussion around the different types of models, who uses them, what problems they model solves, etc. There were a lot of questions and comments during the session (which is great!). We tried to capture a lot of that information in the Model Building Training Page, including a link to the recording and Kemal's ppt.
Discovery Summit Europe - Call for Papers Closes at the End of the Month
Discovery Summit Europe call for content is open. A JMP Live report of current submissions is here. In the past, both the steering committee and attendees gave high marks to papers and posters highlighting new features in the product. This will be the JMP 16 release, and we have lots of great improvements coming. Papers explaining basic usage of JMP or covering a core platform's usage has also been rated highly by attendees in the past. Submit your abstract before Nov 30.
STIPS Updates
Even though STIPS has been out for a while, our teams are still working hard to roll things out in Asia and continue to build resources. Some new developments:
Global Fee Schedules for 2021
Global fee schedules have been updated for 2021. You will see price increases across the board, so use this as a way to close out 2020 opportunities at the lower rates. The pricing for JMP Live is the same, but will up to 50 users instead of 100. Use the fact that introductory pricing of JMP Live is ending 12/31/2020 to help accelerate open opportunities to close in 2020. The US Government team posted the proposed fee on their website. Customers will be able to see 2021 EIS fee schedules after we receive the "official" approval from the US Government (sometime late First Quarter 2021). If you have questions, please reach out to Dan Valente.
15.2.1 Was Released
Some of the key updates:
- An important fix for the Python interface. Using Python Send() to send data tables to JMP no longer generates an unsupported data type error.
- Also several important bug fixes. Please see the full list of fixes in the release notes.
- Make sure customers know to have check for updates on so they always know when updaters are available.
- A important web-only update that should be applied by all users.
