Charts in tab boxes

Question

Hi,

I have a table with the following columns: DATE, VALUE (numeric), CHAMBER (char), PARAMETER (char), UCL (numeric), LCL (numeric).

I want to create the following: different tab box for each CHAMBER, and in each of these tab boxes there should be several charts (fit Y by X), one for each PARAMETER. For each chart, I want to have reference lines based on the columns UCL, LCL. Note that each CHAMBER has different PARAMETERS.

I guess I should loop through the tab boxes (CHAMBER), and inside each tab box loop through the charts (PARAMETER).

Can anyone help me with this?

Are the LCL and UCL saved as column properties for each of the columns, and if so, what type of control limit are they, xbar, individual, etc.?

And yes, a For loop will more than likely be used to loop across the different parameters and chambers.

Sorry, I will try to clarify my question.

I have the following script:

charts_A = expr( dt<< Bivariate(

		Dispatch(

I can do this for each of my CHAMBERS and put in a different variable name.

This would give me all the charts I want, organized in tab boxes.

The problem is that for each PARAMETER, I need different reference lines (based on LCL & UCL column values).

So I guess I'm not sure what exactly should my FOR loop include in order for it to work properly.

I think your best approach is to start off and just create the JSL for the graphs you want under each tab.  You only need to do this for one parameter.

Then that code can be wrapped with the JSL for a Tab Box(), and finally, the For Loop can be added to repeat the process for each of your parameters.
