[Announcement summary]
Since it became necessary for a person who is not familiar with SQL to handle big data at graduate school, I tried the contents of the title.
This time, with the aim of improving the information-related skills of graduate students, I obtained only the case of Linkstation 410, which is a NAS of Buffalo, and installed Debian 10.5 of Linux. After that, MariaDB (MYSQL compatible product) was set up on the NAS, and 50 million ACCESS-based emergency life-saving related data on the Windows PC was transferred to MariaDB. Finally, MariaDB on the NAS is connected from the query builder of JMP Pro 15.1.0 on the PC for analysis. Since the NAS is small (640g) in this method, it is possible to provide a data server environment to telework graduate students by home delivery.
In this report, we will report on the technical know-how and points to keep in mind from the case of NAS only to the assembly of the MYSQL server and cooperation with JMP.
