[Announcement summary]
From the viewpoint of preventing lifestyle-related diseases, the specific examination aims to reduce the number of people aged 40 to 74 years with metabolic syndrome (commonly known as metabolic syndrome). The summary of the examination results for all the specific examination examinees can be a benchmark for comparing the individual and the whole, so it may be useful for the health management of middle-aged and elderly individuals.
In the NDB open data provided by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the average value of test items (abdominal circumference, blood sugar level, blood pressure, etc.) and the distribution by class can be obtained for each year as information on specific examinations, which serves as a criterion for metabolic syndrome. For some inspection items, the number of non-standard people and the number of inspections can be calculated for each attribute such as gender and age. Graphing the non-standard ratio for each inspection item for each attribute gives interesting results, such as the fact that some inspection items do not show trends by age.
In this presentation, along with these graphs, we will show the results of applying a generalized linear model with factors such as year, prefecture, gender, and age to the non-standard ratio for each inspection item. By this modeling, it is possible to predict the non-standard ratio in the attributes (gender, age, prefecture of residence) of the subject, and it is possible to deeply understand the entire specific examination examinee.
