No scripting experience.
SCENARIO
- Have 100 parameters, 50 data points each.
- Input all spec limits and control limits(when pertinent) into column properties.
- Applied a few 'alarm' (nelson' rules to see what triggered.
RESULT = multiple parameters triggered various Alarm (trend rule violations).
GOAL =
Id like to make a bar chart of sorts...which can have parameters across the x-axis, then for each one, quantity how many/type of each violation (like how nested bar charts Ive seen look).
Or a pie chart of the breakdown of each violation (ex. rule 1 violations in one pie slice, rule 2 another color pie slice etc.).
ISSUE =
I know the data is right in front of me (for example, surveying the PROCESS SCREENING vicinity in JMP)...but I cant figure out how to build such visuals from the columns that appear in this screening table...
SIDENOTE
*Im open to it, but dont want to necessarily build the bar/pie charts by ppks...Id prefer to have 'bucketed' by which trend rules got violated and/or the criticality of the parameter.
QUESTION
can I copy/paste columns from the Process Screening table into a new data table (the ppk column for ex)?
I know I can easily revert and do my tasks in excel...but id prefer to keep myself all in JMP, and just become more proficient on all the resources that are already built in to JMP for visual building.
Thanks for any pointers, SUPER appreciated
