Calling regex wizardsHey people,
Who's good with regular expressions? I'm looking to analyze Zoom chat logs with text explorer, and it would be desirable to strip out everything from the word "From" to the first occurrence of ":" during the regex tokenization. Attaching an example data file of the Zoom chat from one of the Discovery US talks.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Calling regex wizardsHi,
I'm not a regex wizard but somehow I managed to figure it out (see table with regex formula column below):
Regex( :Chat, "From (.*) : (.*)", "\2" )
Re: Calling regex wizardsThank you @HadleyMyers , that pointed me in the right direction.
To use the regex tokenizer to clean out the part of the chat that says "From John Smith:", here's what worked for me:

I didn't understand that when you leave the "Result" field blank, the tokenizer will then remove the matched text from analysis. That was my new JMP trick for today.
