I have been trying to figure out a way with Dashboard to have a data filter in which, not only can I interactively change what is plotted, but also interactively select terms in the statistical model that parallels the data in the GraphBuilder plot. This quickly becomes messy if you have a lot of interaction effects, but I feel like it should be possible. In the attached table, I somewhat got it to work (see Dashboard scripts.) for standard least squares and stepwise regression (not for mixed model or gen-reg). I don't supposed there is a way to actually select model terms in the MODEL OUTPUT (not the data filter) to change the GraphBuilder plots? I am almost certain this is not possible, especially since both Fit Y by X and Fit Model create their own plots (which I don't like as much as the GB ones, else I'd use those!). You CAN select groupings of samples in the model output to highlight points in the GraphBuilder plot, which is useful but not exactly what I want. For instance, say I identify in stepwise regression that "temperature x transplant" is the best predictor; I could then highlight those terms in the model output, and the GraphBuilder plot would update. Were I to highlight temperature x transplant in the data filter, the stepwise regression model would then crash (though the GB plot would potentially update appropriately). Is there a way to interactively link the statistical output and the GB plot to where the statistical tests described by the model are reflected in the plot?
