If you’re part of the JMP Division, you know how critical every staff member is to pulling off a successful JMP Discovery Summit event. But the behind the scenes work needed to make these events happen is not just limited to JMP employees. Each Discovery Summit also depends on an invaluable group of external steering committee members committed to designing and delivering an educational, interactive and memorable for JMP Discovery Summit attendees.
With Discovery Summit Europe 2021 on the horizon, we’re looking for new individuals to serve on the Discovery Summit Europe Steering Committee, beginning in March 2021. This group will help make decisions for the subsequent three events – Discovery Summit Europe 2022, 2023 and 2024. Individuals will serve a three-year term, beginning in March 2021.

Discovery Summit Steering Committee Mission Statement:
The charter of the Discovery Steering Committee is to help grow the Discovery conference and to grow the use of JMP software for statistical discovery outside of the conference. Members of the Committee advocate the use of advanced analytics and educate others about the many uses of JMP with the goal of nurturing budding analytic champions whose statistical analysis weapon of choice is JMP. Also with the goal of nurturing JMP users – those at all levels of expertise, in a myriad of disciplines – Committee members work with SAS staffers to grow the Discovery conference annually into an important event that helps JMP users worldwide use the software more efficiently and comprehensively. Specific conference responsibilities include helping identify appropriate speakers, aiding in the selection of papers and posters, and acting as a host at the event in a variety of capacities. Committee members will also have a visible presence in conference promotional materials and will be expected to serve on the Committee for three years.
