Tablebox - edit a single cell possible or find last row focus?Hi, a few Tablebox() questions. (also this could be applied to a String Col Box() )
1. Tablebox - is it possible to edit a single cell by itself? I can read in a single cell no issues.
-or-
2. Tablebox Row Scrolling Focus - if I keep the source JMP table open, cloning a Tablebox from it, then edit the JMP table how to make a refreshed Tablebox from it return to the row number that I just edited in the JMP table?
This Tablebox() is 1000's of rows down so basically how to make say row 500, that was just edited, show up in focus? (thereby avoiding having to use the Tablebox scroll bars to go navigate way down to row 500)
ScriptingRe: Tablebox - edit a single cell possible or find last row focus?I have found the most reliable method for changing a single value in a Table box() is the following method
Names Default To Here( 1 );
New Window( "test",
tb = Table Box(
scb1 = String Col Edit Box( "string col", {"a", "c", "d", "d", "e"} ),
ncb1 = Number Col Edit Box( "number col", {1,2,3,4,5} )
)
);
wait(2);
_xx = scb1<<GET></GET>
Note: I copied this code from a response written by @gzmorgan0
concerning scrolling, I am not aware of a method to control the scrolling of a Table Box()
Re: Tablebox - edit a single cell possible or find last row focus?Thanks Jim! That's very cool!
