I'm trying out the feature of text boxes where you can add fonts and colors. Here's an example:
tb1 = text box("\[The <B><FONT color="blue">quick</FONT></B> brown fox jumped over the lazy dog]\", << markup(1));
tb2 = text box("\[Hello <B><FONT color="red">world</FONT></B> I want to go home]\", << markup(1));
tb3 = text box("\[This will be the <B><FONT color="yellow">last time</FONT></B>]\", << markup(1));
cb = col box("Text Search Results");
cb << append(tb1);
cb << append(tb2);
cb << append(tb3);
nw = new window("Test markup",
highlight_output = vlistbox(
tb = table box(
sb = string col box("Item Number", {"aaa", "bbb", "ccc"}),
cb,
)
)
);
highlight_output << save msword("c:\temp\testcolors.doc", Native);
This yields nice looking output:

However the MS Word file is showing the raw commands, not the highlighted text:

It would be great for the Word output to match the JMP output. Don't know if it's too late to get this into version 16???
Thanks Paul. I have JMP 16EA V7 and the colors work but you lose the bolding. Italics and underline work however.
From Help > About JMP
JMP® Pro 16.0.0 (490130) Early Adopter Edition 7
Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit (10.0.17763.0)
Thanks for the information. I'll take a look. I see that if I copy the text from JMP and paste it into Word, then the bolding is honored. Not sure why it is being lost in the export to Word.
I'm curious - how are you copying the text from JMP? Since it's a text box (and not a text edit box) I can't highlight anything. I can right-click > Copy Table but that loses the bolding when pasted into Word. I'm on a Windows PC - are you using a MAC?
