graph builder resolutionI am trying to presented markers along the chromosome. because the dots are to (~5000) many and to close its look like a continuous bar instead of spread dots. is there any idea how to present it the way I want?
(I've tray to use different kind of marker and to play with transparency, also prefer not to use the jitter option.

GraphicsRe: graph builder resolutionWhat version of JMP are you using? Make sure that your x-axis variable is set to nominal or ordinal, but you should then see something more like this:
where JMP automatically applies a jittering to the points so that you can see them.
Re: graph builder resolutionI think your best option is still going to be some combination of jitter, size and transparency. Below I've got random normal jitter with a small jitter limit (to pack the points more horizontally). The marker size is 'dot' and the transparency is 0.15. In this case, you can see that the distribution of points is different for chrom 3 and 5.
If the distribution of the points is really important perhaps consider a violin plot:
