<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Hi stats experts,
using Fit Y by X and running a Dunn's means comparison with control, returns only values larger than 1e-15, even in scientific format. The Fischer p-Value for ANOVA can on the other side return p-values like 1e-370 or even smaller. Is there a reason why one cannot show the exact value
(I understand fully the fact that the leading zeros in the decimals are usually not reported other than e.g. the significace level <.0001, but ther eis a felt inconsistency and I wonder why.)
The question is raised wihtin a public thread how to convert p value of <.0001 to actual number
There you find also a scripted example from MS as well attached a report from Jason (Novartis), please keep that file confidential.
Thans,
Martin
