Making changes via properties causes false valuesHi all,
a customer called me about this issue:
She wants to eliminate the "within sigma" from the "process summary table" in a process capability report, because they never work with this number.
She found that she can delete it via the properties. When deleted, however, all the decimals of the remaining numbers are gone. So again in the properties she adds decimals back to the numbers, but this time the decimals are all zeros.
Below her picture:

Has anybody come across this? And is there a solution? (To both, the decimal issue and the issue with removing within sigma from the process summary)
Thanks again for any help!
Best regards,
Florian
Re: Making changes via properties causes false valuesHi all,
we actually narrowed this issue down to the non-US user base.
The reason for this phenomenon is the local settings - if a user works in a setting with decimal comma instead of dots, the procedure will end in the mentioned elimination of decimal values.
It can be fixed by ticking the box "Use JMP language rather than System locale settings for number, ..." in 'Preferences' > 'Windows Specific'.
A defect has been opened by technical support.
Best,
Florian
