Exploring Data With Dynamic Graphics: A Case Study in JMP JMP is the perfect tool for exploring data. Whether you are searching for relationships, patterns or outliers, learn how to look at your data to gain critical insights. This topic walks through a case study showing the basics of analysis using JMP. It covers dynamic linking, visual analytics, Fit Model and the Profiler.

Using Graph Builder Effectively
JMP produces specialized graphs and plots with supporting tables, statistics and maps. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, lets you get started quickly and gives you a ribbon of options to use to select alternate graph types. Advanced features allow you to control format and appearance to create persuasive visualizations. See several case studies that demonstrate different techniques to create compelling graphs that uncover relationships in your data and identify areas for further analysis. This topic covers using obvious and hidden graph zones; building uncommon graph types; and finetuning axes, colors, gradients and legends.

Building Dashboards to Access and Share Updated Analyses
JMP lets you easily build a single presentation ready dashboard – with no scripting required – to run and present reports on a regular basis. With this feature, you can build a dashboard by combining windows or using a template. Then save and share the dashboard so you and others can run, interact with and explore the reports. This topic may cover building custom dashboards using Dashboard Builder; combining windows to create dashboards; querying and connecting to data to refresh data; adding titles and logos; incorporating filters and graphs; customizing by adding tabs, changing layout and using summaries; saving as an add-in for those who have JMP and as interactive HTML for those who don’t.

Screening Experiments in JMP
When you have many potential factors affecting the outcome of a process, you need to find the vital few influential factors. This topic shows how the DOE and Screening platforms in JMP make it easy to discover the significant factors. See how to use the JMP Definitive Screening Design platform and graphical design diagnostics methods to yield more information in fewer trials than traditional screening designs.

Using Model Visualization and Simulation to Understand Your Models
Model visualization and Monte Carlo simulation in JMP are useful for understanding your statistical models, and designing robust processes and products. This topic shows how to use JMP’s Prediction Profiler to easily understand complicated statistical models, and how to use the Prediction Profiler to publish and share your process insights with non-statistical audiences. This topic may also cover the Simulator, Defect Profilers, and running Simulation experiments.
