Is there a way to open the Column Info Dialog with a script?Hi. I'd like to know if there's a way to open the column info dialog within a script. For example, I have a script that requires the columns to have the value ordering property enabled. The script checks the columns for this property, and if not present, it creates an error window that tells the user to go back and fix it themselves. It would be nice to bring up the window for them though, preferably with the value ordering property already selected.
I'm hoping for something similar to the dt << Recode message, which opens up the Recode dialog. However I can find no similar message for column info (e.g. dt << ColumnInfo).
Please let me know if any ideas. Thanks.
ScriptingRe: Is there a way to open the Column Info Dialog with a script?Programmatically select the column of interest, and then use the Main Menu() functionl
Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" );
dt << goto( :height );
Main Menu( "column info" );
Re: Is there a way to open the Column Info Dialog with a script?Thanks Jim - this is exactly what I was hoping for. One further question though. If no value ordering is detected, I plan to go ahead and set the column property within the script using just an empty list {}. It will still be up to the user to order the values though in the Column Info box. So once I have it open, is there a way to highlight the value ordering property? That is, instead of opening the dialog as it is in the first image below, I open it as it is in the second image:

Not crucial, but would be nice to have if it were possible. Perhaps an undocumented option to the Main Menu command, or even an xpath command to act on the Column Info window?

Re: Is there a way to open the Column Info Dialog with a script?I am not aware of a method to do that. Others may have a solution.
