Repeated measures using JMP basicI would like to run a repeated measure analysis for the attached dataset. The two variables are Trt # and Target soil moisture. The soil moisture is the response variable that was collected on a daily basis. How do I set up the fixed and random variables for this analysis?
Advanced Statistical ModelingRe: Repeated measures using JMP basicHi Mark
I am new to the JMP community. I forgot to download my data as a JMP data
table. I did download your repeated measures JMP model. It worked for me
in JMP. I was not sure how to set up the day and pots as the random
variable. My data seems to have a lot of variability for soil moisture,
but the water treatments are showing a slight positive effect on soil
moisture. Thanks, Craig
Re: Repeated measures using JMP basicWhy is your data not in a JMP data table?
Perhaps this initial model will help:

I attached that JMP data table that resulted from importing the Excel sheet and then changing the meta-data before setting up the analysis. The Model table script will open the same launch dialog.
Re: Repeated measures using JMP basicHi Mark,
Yes, I did look at several of the discussions for repeated measures. One was for JMP Pro and I don't have that version. Another offered an repeated measure 'add-in" without showing how to actually download it so that it is usable in JMP? The other replies were not clear enough for me to create the model with the nested random variable inside the model dialogue.
Re: Repeated measures using JMP basicThis question is the basis of many discussions in the past. Did you search for this topic before starting a new discussion?
See this JMP support note?
