Setting up Local Data Filter in Bivariate for the number of data pointsHello,
I have a script that runs a Bivariate analysis, and grouping by lot number. However, I am trying to add a condition so that only lot numbers with at least 3 data points are graphed. In my data tables, each 'data point' for a given lot number is stored in a separate row. I am trying to set this up using a Local Data Filter, however I am unsure how to set up the Where() condition to only plot lot numbers with at least 3 data points.
I was wondering if it is possible to accomplish this with a Local Data Filter?
Local Data Filter(
Add Filter(
columns( :Lot Number ),
Where( :Lot Number = "00000" ),
Display(
:Lot Number,
Size( 161, 255 ),
Height( 255 ),
Find( Set Text( "" ) )
)
)
);

I tried your suggestion, and got it working. I decided to script everything as follows:
dt << Summary(
Group(:"Lot Number"),
Freq("None"),
Weight("None")
);
dt << Update(
With( Data Table( "dt By (Lot Number).jmp" ) ),
Match Columns( :"Lot Number" = :"Lot Number")
);
dt << Select Where(:"N Rows" < 3);
dt << hide and exclude;
dt << clear row states;Re: Setting up Local Data Filter in Bivariate for the number of data pointsI would just run
Tables=>Summary
grouping on Lot ID, and then merging the summary data table back to the original table, using
Tables=>Update
matching on Lot ID.
Then run the following code prior to setting up your filter
dt = current data table();
dt << select where(:Num Rows < 3);
dt << hide and exclude;
dt << clear row states.
This will eliminate the hidden and excluded rows from your analysis.
