Wow, John. This is an awesome wrap-up. Thanks for the detail. Sales teams: You have what you need?
@JohnMosier Thank you for the information we need to coordinate our follow up attempts! #alignment
@Diana_Levey I think we have what we need, thank you! If we continue with virtual Discovery events in the future, it is worth considering how to get the attendee information in Salesforce.
Thanks to everyone in JMP who played a role last week in helping to make our first virtual Discovery Summit Americas such a success.
Like so many other aspects of life these days, it was different, it was challenging at times, and there were definitely a few curveballs, but based on some of the attendee comments we received during the event, it was a hit!
So where do we go from here? How can we build on the momentum in customer engagement that we generated last week?
First, it might be helpful to gain some insights into both account-level and attendee-level participation throughout the conference.
Take a look at a couple of JMP Live reports created by Julian Parris using data pulled from the Hubb, our virtual event platform. These reports show plenary and session data with filters, allowing you to drill down to view activity by company or individual attendee.
Second, here’s a summary of planned follow-up communications from Marketing over the next couple of weeks:
- Emails went out today, 10/20 to all registrants (one to all who signed in at least once to the conference and a separate one to those who did not attend) reminding them how to access recorded content in the Community.
- On Thursday, 10/22 a post-event survey will be sent to all registrants (staff will be surveyed as well) to gather feedback on what they liked and what we can improve upon.
- An email will go out on Tuesday, 10/27 to all registrants recapping some event highlights and promoting the opening of the call for content for Discovery Summit Europe.
- Finally, our last follow-up email is planned for Tuesday, 11/3 and will announce the winners of the best paper and poster awards. We’ll also remind attendees that our virtual conference center will soon close (it will remain accessible for 30 days after the event).
In the meantime, please encourage customers (both attendees and non-attendees) to watch, share and comment on all the great recorded Discovery Summit Americas material in the Community.
This is great @JohnMosier!!!!
