Categorical > Specify Comparison Groups: easy way to compare all vs. a control?<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Suppose I want to compare multiple columns in a Categorical report vs one column in particular (e.g., vs. a control). Is there an easy way to do this short of manually typing out something like A/B,A/C,A/D,A/E,A/F,...? If the number of columns in the table is large, this can get tedious.
Re: Categorical > Specify Comparison Groups: easy way to compare all vs. a control? Thanks Bryan. This is useful for JSL-strong users like myself, but many P&G JMP users are not at this level of expertise. Yet there may be something we can do with this concept, so I'll think about it for a while.
Re: Categorical > Specify Comparison Groups: easy way to compare all vs. a control? In the GUI it is currently possible to either conduct all pairwise comparisons (the default) or to manually specify the comparisons as you have done. If you're amenable to working in JSL, I've written and attached a function that will create the comparison groups for you when passed the letter of the control group's column and the total number of columns in the table. You can then copy and paste the list of comparisons to the Choice platform or use the object it creates elsewhere in your JSL script.
