<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Hi,
In JSL, if you run this:
Words("45544554555","")
You get this:
{"4", "5", "5", "4", "4", "5", "5", "4", "5", "5", "5"}
I have a whole column of strings that I would like to split this way, using the empty delimiter so each character in the input string gets its own column.
Cols > Utilities > Text to Columns seems like a natural place to go. However, it won't let me enter an empty deliminter, nor can I submit an empty delimiter via JSL like this:
Current Data Table() << Text To Columns( delimiter( "" ), columns( :Input ) );
Is there an easy way around this?
Thanks,
Michael
I solved my own problem. Here's the solution for anyone who may be interested.
1. Create a new column in the data, and put this Formula in it:
Concat Items( Words( :Input, "" ), "," )
2. Run Cols > Utilities > Text To Columns against the new column with Delimiter = ","
