Would it be possible to have JMP progress window invisbleHello,
I have been fetching data from database with JSL. While fetching data, I can see one window named JMP Progress on my screen.
Would it be possible to have JMP Progress window invisible especially when we would like to run JSL background?? If possible, do you think it would be faster to execute the JSL as it does not need to update its progress?? I could check but just wanted to know beforehand...
Thank you for your help.

ScriptingRe: Would it be possible to have JMP progress window invisbleWhat version of JMP are you running? What OS? I have to chuckle a little as there were requests to see the progress for many years. I believe Windows version got it before the Mac.
Re: Would it be possible to have JMP progress window invisbleProgress bars do use some of the CPU to update. They are usually written to keep that below 1%, so removing the progress bar will not give back much. And if the work is being done by a remote server, it may not give back anything.
Re: Would it be possible to have JMP progress window invisbleThank you for your comment.
Sorry for my unclear question, version of JMP and OS are JMP15 and Win10.
I understood that progress window is informative and sometimes mandatory, but I just thought that it would be great if we could hide it especially when we run the script with which we already know it takes quite long time. I hope I could explain the background of my stupid question.
Thank you.
