Malcolm and I reviewed the list and are submitting to you for review.
For message simplification, this year we are trying UK on the first of each month (unless a holiday) and rest of Europe on the first Friday of each month (unless a holiday). Please confirm by Oct. 1 that the dates work for you.
A few notes about 2021:
- Audience: JMP Users with the goals:
- Demo something useful and articulate how it might be useful to a challenge they might have.
- Entice them to try it out on their own using journal and video they get after the session.
- Answer relevant questions during the session to keep them engaged and help us learn what is interesting/troubling to them.
- We will use ZOOM.
- I am working with Tina DuBois on replicating and extending some positive aspects of WebEx Event Center (used in the US) integrated with salesforce. These are:
- Making it easy to register for more than one session at once
- Putting registrations in salesforce
- Collecting attendee names and updating salesforce accordingly
- Automating reminders
- Automating follow-up with links to on-demand and journals easy after the session
- We’ll will make the On-demand FR/DE/IT sessions available. This will require hosts recording, sending me the .mp4 files and journal, and some help from local-language SEs editing my text, which I will take from the journal. Massimo has already done this once with me here: https://www.jmp.com/it_it/events/ondemand/local/come-trasferire-dati-prepararli-analisi.html
- SEs will use, as always, Great Demo. A short review. Peel the onion and tell and show what is inside before starting peeling. It is totally appropriate to break the session into three sections and describe and show final JMP reports for each section. In reports for each section, point out what they will learn, like "Then we will create a model that shows us patterns of eating and we learn that people in rural areas eat different foods than people in urban areas. This information may be useful for stocking, marketing, or producing food."
- We will promote these using EUROPEAN JMP Newswire (people must opt-in and subscribe to Newswire) and local-language JMP Skills (people must just opt-in to emails; no subscription). Allowing multiple registrations means we can do fewer emails.
