Time date formats with millisecondsIt is quite common that we get data from the lines measured every 0.1 s. Currently we cannot use this information in JMP and it is required to keep the time and data as character, which means a significant loss of functionality in JMP i.e. much more effort in handling the data because it is required to create new row IDs.
Statistics and AnalyticsUser InterfaceRe: Time date formats with milliseconds@reese_sj can you let us know if there is any more information here? Otherwise, can we close this?
Re: Time date formats with milliseconds - Status changed to: Needs InfoRe: Time date formats with millisecondsDate, time, and datetime values support fractional seconds.
Use the Column Info dialog and Dec field to set the number of decimal places you want displayed.

Re: Time date formats with millisecondsI ran into a similar issue . I know that we can convert these into numeric with the Date MDY function and change the modeling type to continuous. But, I think this only gets to seconds and not milliseconds. However, I do think the capability is possible since a date like "6-29-2019" converts to "3644352000".
