We need your help on the following. Please review and email me your responses – kathy.walker@jmp.com.
- On Oct 13, 14, and 15, Jeff Perkinson and Jessica Marquart will start the day with “In the Flow”. This will go from 12:30 – 12:45 pm EDT. We’d like for a few of you to join each day to share what you are excited about, what you like about Discovery, what you miss about meeting in-person, etc., in a very relaxed, informal setting. You’ll just be talking to the crowd as they come into the meeting and warming them up. Let me know if you want to volunteer to do this, and on what day.
- Paper presentations will be on Oct 13, 14, and 15 from 1:50 – 4:45 pm EDT, and Oct 16 from 11:50 am – 2:55 pm EDT. Attendees will watch the recorded presentation live online, then be able to ask questions and comment in real time. We need you to do introductions for these 20 paper presentations. Review the schedule online and let me know which ones you are interested in introducing. Please send me this information by Tuesday, Sept 22, at noon EDT. We will write short introductions for you.
- Birds of a Feather discussions will happen on Oct 13, 14, 15 and 16. It would be great if you can participate in these discussions. Birds of a Feather will happen during the Discovery Expo each day. JMP staff members will also participate. Once we finalize topics and times, we’ll post online.
Other duties during the conference:
- Participate and ask questions when there is silence.
- Take notes to provide feedback during post conference meeting.
- Reach out to attendees to get feedback.
- Promote Discovery to colleagues and people in your networks. Registration is complimentary but must register to participate.
You will be introduced during the opening session on Tuesday, Oct 13.
Incoming steering committee members will be introduced during the closing session on Friday, Oct 14.
We will review these items and answer questions during our steering committee call on Sept 15 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm EDT.
Thanks!
We'd love for cameras to be on for you if possible.
We are trying to recreate as much of that human connection that we get in-person as possible.
