The first-ever JMP track will be offered next month in Washington, D.C., at SAS Global Forum, the annual event organized by the SAS Global Users Group, which is open to SAS software users worldwide.
The track is called “SAS Presents…JMP” and is scheduled for Monday, March 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. The six user presentations will show how JMP helps organizations solve problems in such areas as genomics, product design and life sciences, and will highlight JMP features for Monte Carlo simulation, clustering and experimental design.
"The ‘SAS Presents…JMP' track will give attendees a chance to see what JMP can do as both as a standalone product and as a client to SAS,” says Jeff Perkinson, JMP Product Manager, who will serve as moderator for the JMP track.
Perkinson expects to see a diverse audience of JMP and SAS users at the JMP track sessions. “JMP users will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and application of JMP with other SAS users. Some of these SAS users may already be JMP users; others may be getting their first look at JMP. This is a great way to nurture the JMP user community and integrate it with the SAS user community,” Perkinson says.
Here are the presentations slated for the "SAS Presents...JMP" track on Monday, March 23 (as reported on the full SAS Global Forum agenda):
