Discovery Summit Registration Opens This Week
Americas Discovery Summit Online 2020 is approaching quickly and registration opens soon. We’ll have specific requests of some of you during the week of the conference. What requests, you ask? Read on for a few details.
- Development, Testing, and Documentation: Be available to assist with “Meet the Developer” sessions for a few hours each day of the conference. Since there will be quite a few attendees, we’ll need a lot of you at the ready!
- Systems Engineers: Host Zoom breakout rooms and “Birds of a Feather” sessions.
- Regional Account Teams: Organize and host small group discussions (10-12 attendees) in which participants can talk about what they have learned during sessions or ask questions. Think of these as “around the dinner table” conversations that you would have at in-person Discovery events. Also, continue to recruit attendees.
- Marketing/Customer Care: Assist with Zoom breakout rooms and organizing meetings/activities. Additional requests coming soon.
JMP 15.2
In case you missed it, the JMP 15.2 maintenance release is now available. Software administrators have been notified that they can access 15.2 for JMP users at their sites.
Please tell your customers to get JMP 15.2 at jmp.com/update (updaters) or jmp.com/upgrade (installers).
Expanded Language Translation in the JMP User Community
Language translation now occurs in the JMP User Groups and the JMP Wish List spaces.
Translation in these new areas is the same as the rest of the Community. You can view content in a language other than the default language (set by your Community preferences) by following these steps:
- At the top of the board or post, locate “Choose Language.”
- Click “Choose Language.” A drop-down menu of languages displays. By default, the language selected is based on the language set in your community preferences. You can select a different language to view content.
Also, you can set your preferred language in your Community preferences. Not only does setting your preferred language allow you to automatically view content in that language, but also you can post in that language and have the content automatically translated for others.
