Discovery Summit Online Welcome Videos

My colleagues, Diana Levey and Ryan DeWitt, are asking for your help:

We need your help for the...

Welcome Video for Discovery Summit Americas

We think our returning Discovery registrants will enjoy seeing our faces and hearing our voices—particularly those of our Steering Committee. And we assume that new attendees will enjoy a warm JMP welcome as well.

That’s why we’re asking you to record yourself wearing a JMP shirt or standing in front of a JMP logo if you can. Then say these things in your most friendly, inviting voice...

Welcome!

Hello

Welcome to Discovery Summit

Here’s how to record yourself in three easy steps...

In “Settings” scroll down to the “Camera” line… Choose “Record Video” at 1080p at 30fps (frames per second) Should be the default setting on most iPhones.
Turn the phone horizontal/landscape before you begin recording, and make sure your volume up/down buttons are pointing to the ground.
Start recording. Allow the camera to run for a few seconds before you start...we need that buffer for editing.

When done, name your recording something appropriate and put it in this OneDrive folder.

We are giving you until the end of the day on Friday, September 4^th, but the sooner you can do this, the better. Thank you!
