Import swedish characteres from SPSS.sav files

Hello,

 

I have received SPSS file from a swedish contact. When importing this file into JMP, my assumption is that some "swedish" characteres are not recognized in JMP and are then replaced by funny items. Is there a way to avoid this? if you need the dataset please let me know and i will send it to you (attachment does not work for the moment).

Hi Valerie,
Send the file and description to Tech Support on behalf of the customer. They are in the best position to investigate the problem, report it to development, and suggest a workaround if possible.
