I can't find my way around even after searching the help, maybe someone here can help me.
I have a table with 3 columns:
-a response (response) variable: sensor signal
-a constant influencing variable: temperature
-a categorical influencing variable: sensor number
So I have sensor signal(temperature) dependency for different sensors. I would now like to linearly fit all of them coupled so that the same gradient comes out for all sensors and the offset only shifts depending on the sensor. How do I do this? In Analyze --> Adjust Model I didn't find a way to insert a category. How does it work?

Under Analysis --> Adjust Model you should be able to add categorical variables (Model Dialog) in the JMP file.
PS: Stupid question, but is the sensor number set to nominal?
