JMP INFO: JMP 13 installation

Hi All

 

Normally Atos produces an installation package for JMP 13, which would be the preferred installation form. But after 6 months of testing defect packages, we have given up and give you access to a manual installation instead.

To install JMP 13, please follow the steps in the file found here (copy the path to Windows Explorer):

 

\\nzww.nzcorp.net\NZfileshares\NZALL\Shareall\Statistics\Installing JMP 13.docx

the instruction includes updating to 13.2 (on page two)

Strange - I'd just try again... I have installed and uninstalled JMP 13 from this path probably 20 times without issues.

Oops, spoke too soon -- link is active, but address is wrong. The %20's are messing it up. The hyperlink formatter in the posting tool won't seem to allow me to do it correctly (keeps auto-converting it to an incorrect link)

 

This will work if pasted directly into browser:

Hi StatTeam,

Although I appreciate that you have provided this solution, it does unfortunately not work on all computers.

I tried to follow the clear and detailed instructions but was not able to open the installed JMP 13.0. Had to uninstall it again and ask Atos (!) to re-install JMP 12 asit was missing some MSI-file.

Now JMP 12 is up and running again but no JMP 13.

Great news! For anyone who may be on the fence, the new formula builder alone is worth far more than the time spent manually installing this upgrade.

 

(Marianne, the hyperlink isn't active for me. Can you double-check it? Also, 13.2 was released in August -- should it be avoided?)
