JMP Live Training
Last week we held our 10th (yes, tenth!) JMP Live training session on best practices and lessons learned since the launch of JMP Live just under a year ago. Tony Cesano, @dara_hammond, @dieter and Stephanie Mencia shared what they have learned over the last 11 months and how we can better identify and prepare for JMP Live calls. @geoffrey_mann presented at the last division update about the latest release of JMP Genomics and what’s to come for JMP Clinical later this year. Geoff has done a great job of putting together some sales resources for JMP Genomics:

FDE Training
Thanks to @phersh and @MaryLoveless for doing an amazing job sharing their expertise around FDE. The recording of this training session and related resources are posted here in the product management space on the community. Some suggested action items from this session:

Spotfire Training
Thanks to @nickshelton , Anne Milley and Nick Vacca for putting together a great training on Spotfire – a great start to our series of competitor trainings! If you missed the training you can go here to watch the recording, access Anne’s Spotfire SWOT, continue to ask questions and read through some of the highlights. Key takeaways:
- Spotfire answers the question “What just happened?” while JMP answers the question “Why did that just happen?”.
- Both tools have interactive graphs (data exploration), steer the conversation to how engineers/scientists work through data (from data prep to finding actionable insights).
- JMP can do 98% of what Spotfire Desktop can do, Spotfire can only do 20% of what JMP can do.
- JMP Live is rapidly approaching the capabilities of what Spotfire Cloud can do.
