Here are the ideas for what I had in mind to streamline your efforts for creation of a employee / user submitted Learning Path--

 

Some of the activities / efforts that would be needed...

 

Create "New Article"  Template form entitled: Create Learning Path 

@Ryan_Gilmore @IanAtJMP can such a template be created with options noted below?

Learning Path template should prompt for the following:

1. Learning Path Title
2. Select Label for Learning Path
3. Option to create Video ( Name, Description, URL, Presenter, Select Label)
4. Option to create Activity (Title, Description / Steps, Question, Answer, Select Label)
5. Upload Resources for Learning Path (JMP data tables, PDF, word, pptx )

Template Creation

1. Upload form as a new template when starting a "New Article" 
2. Limit availability to Learn JMP category
3. Limit to 10 ( combination of videos and activities)

Approval Process:

1. User submits playlist for consideration
2. Verify playlist doesn't exist
3. Notify user of approval or rejection 
4. If rejection provide reason ( already exists, ???)

Build Flight Plan:

1. Verify videos / URLs
2. Verify Resources
3. Build Learning Path
4. Upload Learning Path
5. Notify user of availability
6. Create Shareable link for Twitter
7. Create Shareable link for LinkedIn

Badging:

1. Create Badge for creation of 1st Learning Path
2. Create Badge for sharing Learning Path
3. Create Badge for completion of Learning Path

Option to create course?

1. Create Course by Linking 2 or more Learning Paths

Content Curation ( Allow pick lists?)

1. Curate content from SAS Education
2. Curate content from JMP.com
3. Curate content from Mastering JMP 
4. Curate Content from ???

@ryandewitt Thanks for creating the mock-up.

 

This option implemented with a Google form designed to capture user input for learning path.

Flows into Google sheet after hitting submit button.

 

Concerns:

• how to get notified that a form was submitted?
• how to notify submitter that request was received and is under review?
• security vulnerabilities if customer submitted
• how to gather contact information in case of questions, additional information, badging?
• do we want a SF campaign to capture details?
