jmp15 crashing with excel2016 when copying and pastinghi there
i have issue with jmp15 and excel 2016
when copying 300-400 cells from excel into jmp15 , it will hang and freeze
using version 15 with latest updates.
after i kept having that problem i uninstalled jmp15 and installed jmp14 and had no issues preforming the exact same thing.
something is wrong with jmp15 , please fix.

In case you installed a new version, check for updates as may a minor version has been provided already (sometimes - as software is - with some bug fixes). Right now the new version of JMP 16.0 will be available by end of this week. So if the issue still persist in JMP 15 you may want to try JMP 16.
However, if you experience such issues like unexpected time to do an analysis (especially from version to version) or any hang or crash (best if reproducible) please contact tech support via support@jmp.com
Though community is a great place to share, collaborate and ask questions of all kind, in case there is a crash, this should (at least in addition to the community) go to Tech Support. The community might be of help if someone has experienced similar behavior, or provide workarounds, however, once again, send the crash report or a description of the behavior always in addition to Tech Support where it can be tracked in our development systems. I've just updated to JMP15 from JMP14, and some normal operations become very very slow and even freeze my whole computer for a while.
e.g.,
For a simple y by x box plot created by Graph Builder, when I change the Box Style from "normal" to "thin", the CPU/RAM usage reaches 100% for nearly half an minute ! The data table size is about 510000*50, which was fine with JMP14.

please post your crash report to support@jmp.com with the staps you undertook and the license information of JMP (help, info about JMP).
